On Tuesday, November 30, 2010, the Academy of Natural Sciences is hosting a free lecture event featuring research professor, distinguished author, and nationally-recognized ecologist, John Todd, Ph.D.  The opening reception begins at 6:00 p.m., and the program starts at 6:30 p.m.

P.M. @ Penn Museum Wednesdays

On Wednesday, December 1, 2010, Penn Museum is hosting an evening event at the Pepper Mill Café, located inside of the Museum at 3260 South Street, Philadelphia.  The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a gallery tour of the “Life and Culture of the Romans and Etruscans” and continues with holiday cocktails at 6:00 p.m. The event is free with regular Museum admission donation, a Penn Museum membership, or a PennCard.

Children’s Workshop at the Philadelphia Zoo

On Saturday, December 4, 2010, the Philadelphia Zoo is hosting a weekend workshop for children ages 2 to 6 years-old.  This event includes animal encounters, sing-alongs, and activities designed especially for early learners and their favorite grownup.  Pre-registration is required, so sign up now!
