SpeakersAashna SinhaAashna Sinha is an MBA candidate in the Class of 2013 at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she also serves as an Admissions Fellow, Sponsorship Chair for the Wharton Women in Business Conference, and Vice President of Internal Affairs for the Wharton Marketing Club. Prior to Wharton, she was a management consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and Operations practice, where she developed creative business transformation, financial improvement, and process efficiency strategies for government clients. Aashna graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University, where she studied Economics, Statistics, and International Affairs, and conducted research on macroeconomic trends, monetary policy, and the economic impact of malaria prevalence on poverty levels.
Event featuring Aashna Sinha:Pramod AbichandaniPramod Abichandani is a Senior Researcher and an Assistant Teaching Professor at Drexel University. He received his Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Nirma Institute of Technology, Gujarat University, India, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Drexel University. His research interests are centered on optimal, multidimensional, data-driven decision-making, through the use of techniques from mathematical programming, linear and nonlinear systems theory, statistics, and machine learning. On the education front, he works on bringing innovation to the classroom by introducing novel course content, pedagogical methodologies, and evaluation techniques. He has won several awards for his teaching, including the Continuing Excellence in Teaching (2010) award at Drexel University.
