PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING FOR PENN’S LANDING

By Bus 


There are several bus routes that stop at, and just a few blocks from, the Science Carnival 

• SEPTA Bus Routes 21 & 42 stop at The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing and Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest at the Chestnut Street turnaround. 

• SEPTA Routes 17, 33, & 48 stop at Front and Market Streets. 

• SEPTA Routes 17, 33, & 48 stop at Front and Market Streets. 

• SEPTA Routes 17, 33, & 48 stop at Front and Market Streets. 

• SEPTA Route 12 stops directly at Spruce Street Harbor Park at Columbus Blvd and Dock Street. 

• SEPTA Route 25 runs along Columbus Boulevard. 


By Rail


Take the SEPTA Market-Frankford Elevated Line (the Blue line) to the Second Street Stop. From there, head East over the Market Street Bridge. The Blue Cross RiverRink and Great Plaza at Penn's Landing will be straight ahead.


Traveling to the Carnival from further away? Take the SEPTA Regional Rail to Center City and transfer to the Market-Frankford Elevated Line at Suburban Station or Jefferson Station.


 

New Jersey residents, take PATCO to 8th and Market Station and walk or take SEPTA Bus 33 to Penn’s Landing. Or, try NJ Transit bus service.

 


By Bike


Philadelphia has over 350 miles of on and off road bike paths. Penn’s Landing is located off the Columbus Boulevard, Spruce Street, and Pine Street bike lanes.

By Foot

The Chestnut Street, Dock Street, and Spruce Street pedestrian entrances to Penn’s Landing make walking to the Carnival from Center City East very easy.

  • Philadelphia Parking Authority - (.5 miles) 125 S. 2nd Street 
  • Smart Park - Queen Village (1 mile) 900 S. 2nd Street 
  • The Bourse Garage - (1 mile) 400 Ranstead Street
